Get ready for take off. 4...3...2...1... LIFT OFF launches a concoction of intoxicating pop songs that The Register declares "could well see the group strike commercial success..." (Robert Kinsler, The Register)
LIFT OFF has performed at renowned clubs such as The Troubadour, The Dragon Fly, Sunset Strip's Cat Club, The Gig, 14 Below, West End and others, where the band's high-energy performances entertain fans with original pop-rockin tunes and kooky covers, such as Neil Diamond's "America" or the rock'n-dance-slamming remake of the "Wonder Woman" theme song. LIFT OFF has also opened for acclaimed artists, such as the sold out show with platinum recording artist The Sounds at the Troubadour, and legendary Stan Ridgeway of Wall Of Voodoo fame at the renowned Coach House.
LIFT OFF first gained success with a U2 Tribute album entitled Even Better Than The Real Thing, where The Register favorably declared "Lift Off retains the exhilarating feel of 'Where the Streets Have No Name' but also uses a heavy dose of electronica to revamp the classic as if it were a part of the 'Achtüng Baby' sessions." This lead Delirium Records to ask LIFT OFF to contribute a song for a Madonna Tribute. LIFT OFF recorded a power-pop medley of Music and Ray Of Light for the album entitled Immaculate Deception, now available. To listen to a snippet of the tune, visit www.liftoff4321.com/mp3.html. The power-pop trio consists of Adrianna Krikl on electric guitar and vocals, Choda on bass (yeah, "Choda" is a wacky nickname for him... but it just so happened to stick!) and David Schatanoff Jr. thumping on percussion. Together, the team produces a unique sound supported with samples and loops to create high-energy pop-rock tunes.
Band members reside in Los Angeles and Orange County and continue to perform their catchy tunes for audiences in both counties.
LIFT OFF writes miniature pop anthems and injects them with samples and spunk for a noise pop sound. Theres always a bit of tongue and cheek tossed in there for good measure. Rock on!
